Hope thats the only thing we are left with

Recently read a news which says the Kalahasthi Temple tower collapses and its no more....
Its really disgusting to know that something of that value is not been looked after properly....There was a great cry about it from people in all quarters..There was a noise about the carelessness of the state government for a day or two....Now the issue similar to other issue in our country lying deep down somewhere....Only good thing is not much casualty considering that place as a pilgrimage center and a tourist spot in our country.....

Certain things about that incidents needs to be considered here...
First and the most ....The attitude of our archaeological department of our country....We can always say its not been looked after by that department..But the blame should be on them for a reason that tower which symbolizes our culture is not been given the due care it deserves and that department main duty is to maintain these kind of heritage buildings....
This is one of the pilgrimage place of Hindus who are 70 to 80 percentage of our country...We shouldn't go into religious things because we are living in a so called secular country..But i have to ask a question whether the same way everyone would have reacted if it was something close to heart of other religions..This majority in our country(Hindus) are considered by politicians as the people who wont react if they deride these people beliefs..Okay lets assume we are secular and leave this out of the way.... its a tourist spot and it shows our countries architectural excellence...We have look at our western counterparts to learn our lessons and should take a leaf out of their books..Rome and London cities with heritage buildings the government is making sure its been preserved because its how the other knows their country and its place of big tourist interest...No new model building will be constructed in the place near Thames river and coliseum because they love their country and value its architecture...Its high time our politician take a hard look at themselves at least in preserving these heritage value which we will known to people in other parts of the world...But deep down in my heart it says that nothing will be done and my great countrymen will forget this soon enough to help the politicians....

Bottom line is one great value of our country is lost and that process we lost our pride and revenue through that....Above all its been said it will be reconstructed..Good news but lot of money is going to spent on that which can be avoided....who cares :-(

Second one to be considered is whether this incident could be avoided..Answer is in the report by the government itself...It had a crack for 10 years getting worsen and worsen day by day...I have to take pill to harden myself to take this...Really disgusting thing here not only the tower has not been given its care but the tourist and person visiting there are not been respected....If at all...if it all they had a semblance of responsibility anyone whose been in power for these ten years...This could be avoided...But nothing happen....

Please don't jump in to conclusion that i am blaming all the politicians alone here or responsible authorities. And also don't think like i am categorizing it as anti Hindu act....Its something that we failed collectively as a country....I am Indian i love my country for being secular...I enjoy all its diversity because thats where my identity lies...But our leaders and people has to understand it can be secular only if everyone in every community is been allowed to live with their own freedom and their values are respected..Honestly i didn't get any indication that our leaders doing it...They will not want to lose to vote of minority...And hurt their feeling because they wants seats in those areas as well.......By all charitable disposition this is absolute s**t....

I don't know where are we heading as a country but there is no doubt denying that fact that this generation in India (Includes me obviously) worry more about what costume aishwarya rai and deepaka padukone wears in Cannes than our country values and pride..The National news channel is not a exception too..As everyone one hopes i am also hoping that my generation pick themselves up and work towards the betterment of the nation and come out of the satellite television and IPL marijuana..

Lets hope as an Indian after all these years of independence thats what we are left with that this system will be cleansed properly...And radical changes for creating great india will happen soon..Hope after all these years that what we are left with...Lets all Hope...

Finally the day has arrived.

May 18,2010...A day in which i finally put together a blog..Writing a blog is something i conceived in my mind for long time...Its pretty easy to do thanks to this site but till now i don't understand why i didn't do any earlier...Till a year back there were some doubts about what blogging is in my mind...I thought i ain't good enough to discuss about something...May be i was callow to think who i am to talk about morass of morality ...Now i think i understood what blogging is and decided its time...I going to share what my take on different things i saw and face in a day to day life...May be to the Movie i watched to a book i read...It can be anything that made a impact on me which i want to share with my friends..After all blogging is one way of unwinding yourself and way of connecting yourself to the outside world...See you soon with some post mates...Till then have a great fun!!!
